Common Coffee Flavors

Coffee has come a long way from its early days of discovery. The competition between coffee flavors is growing tougher as new flavors gain popularity and new trends emerge.

Of course, to the hardcore coffee drinker, chocolate coffee would be something that should only for little children who can take the bitterness of the real thing.

Challenger #3: Vanilla

Similar to chocolate coffee, vanilla coffee is appreciated because of the sweetness it adds you a regular cup of coffee. An added advantage of drinking vanilla coffee is that it acts as additional cream in your coffee giving it a richer and creamier flavor. Vanilla coffee can be quite filling as well as flavorful. Unlike the usual effects of coffee that make your senses and nervous system more alert and active, vanilla coffee is a heavy drink and can increase drowsiness in some drinkers. In fact, vanilla coffee is sometimes called the “hot chocolate” of coffee because you could even have it before bedtime. This is ironic since vanilla coffee usually does not have any chocolate in it and it is in fact one of the competitors against chocolate coffee in modern society!
